There is this peculiar mismatch in treatment of full names


The name of item will succumb to replacement when user enters proper data in

Multi rename > Settings > Search and replace > Search for

and

Multi rename > Settings > Search and replace > Replace with

fields even if the field of ...

I also get the same correct result when using default settings

But my personal settings truncate names of files

I do not know how more precisely descriptive I could possibly report this bug - therefore I will just ask this then:

I did not find an option to remove this in GUI, so I opened the

FreeCommander.ini

main config file and changed in it

Condition=<fixed>

into

Condition=

So now the This PC is shown as I want it i.e. still with in Detailed View mode but always with data about space

But it has a drawback ...

So it seems that in this matter I just must continue supplementing usage of FreeCommander with Everything

All in all, right now there is no persistent cache function in FreeCommander, not for Recycle Bin nor for ordinary folders, right?
