Ah, thanks for the quick response, should have hunted around more, was getting the view option mixed up with setting.

I'm new to Free Commander XE and very much loing forward to using it.

One thing that I cannot do at the moment which I want to do is have 2 panes open but with BOTH showing the directory tree.

I read this thread which seemed to suggest there was a Settings > View > Tree > One tree per panel option ...
