I have already checked the "Show system files"
Actually they are not system files.
They are only files/folder which contain GIT
Maybe freecommander will produce this problem when you installed TortoiseGit and you have GIT in any folder ... ?

I'm using FreeCommander XE 2018 Build 770 32-bit public
My icon for files/folders is missing
But it only in certain folder.
In my case, it is only in "d:\xampp\htdocs" folder

I let the 1st and the 2nd checkbox both are checked, but the 3rd and the 4th checkbox with any combination.
Result:
- I still can not drag and drop any item from Winrar (v3.80) to any area in a folder (file list).
- but drag and drop only works while the destination is a folder in the Tree Toggle ...

I'm using FreeCommander XE 2015 Build 685 32-bit public portable version ( http://freecommander.com/downloads/FreeCommanderXE-32-public_portable.zip )
OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit (also in Windows 8.1 32 bit)

Try to open a zip or rar file using WinRar.
Then try to drag and drop any item in the Winrar to ...
