Re: 903: Compute Checksums "Copy to clipboard" button does not always work
Thank you for the confirmation Timon. BTW, one common use case for copying the actual checksum of the file is for reporting purposes. For example, let's say you download FreeCommander and the checksum of the downloaded file does not match what is posted. It may be useful to be able to quickly provid...

903: Compute Checksums "Copy to clipboard" button does not always work
FreeCommander XE 2024 Build 903 64-bit donor In the "Compute Checksums" dialog box, the "Copy to clipboard" button does not work when comparing a file's checksum to a known checksum and the checksums do not match. In this case, it will be useful for that button to copy the checks...

Re: Possible to show entire path for delete confirmation message box?
I do use the "Use Windows" option. Thank you for confirming that message box is issued by Windows itself.

Possible to show entire path for delete confirmation message box?
When hard deleting (not to the Recycle Bin) a file or folder, a confirmation message box is displayed asking the user if they really want to delete the selected file/folder. Is it possible to display the file's/folder's entire pathname in that confirmation message box? This will help prevent user er...

Allow changing stripe colour for inactive pane
The user can set the stripe colour for the active pane. It will be very useful to be able to set a unique stripe colour for the inactive pane.

Allow applying unique colours to tree pane dependent on active file pane
FC currently allows the user to specify a unique tree background colour when the associated file pane is focused (and thus the tree pane is not). I would like to suggest that FC support the ability to assign unique colours to the tree pane's background and text (font) dependent on whether or not the...

File deletion/lock issue with Firefox
FreeCommander XE 2023 Build 898 64-bit donor (Win7) I had 4 files in a folder. I uploaded 2 of them using Firefox to a web-app. In FC, I then pressed Shift+Del to permanently delete those files. FC appeared to perform the action (no errors), however the files were not removed from FC's file pane. Cl...

Re: About use with low vision
Under Settings - View you can define " Dialogs font ". I use a custom language file. With that custom language file, a few dialog box strings are cut off due to the label fields in the resource code being too small. I haven't had a chance to test it, but I wonder if increasing the dialog ...

Are you referring to this tool?

Can you remember why you switched from BulkFileChanger?

Personally, I think BulkFileChanger is excellent. I have yet to try NewFileTime.

891 - Status bar in Search files/folders windows not theming correctly
FreeCommander XE 2023 Build 891 64-bit donor Win7
The status bar of the Search files/folders window does not themed properly when using a dark Windows theme. It's always bright white.
The status bar in FC itself looks great.

Re: Dark themed Settings and pop-up windows
Just FYI, I use a dark theme for Windows and for FC, and everything is dark for me.
Some things in FC could still use a little improvement (such as the status bar in the Search files/folder window, which doesn't conform to anything), but 98% of it looks great for me.
