Toggle pane/dual pane (F10) from 1 pane back to 2 panes triggers the filter in the other pane.
The normal quick filter is activated, even if before going to 1 pane, the filter was inverted (see "Inverse quick filter" option).
LE: If the quick filter is empty, you won't get this behaviour.

Also "Alt+Left Click" (or CTRL+left or right arrow) on a shortcut to a file will open the folder containing that file. I found this to be useful sometimes.

Workaround example:
If you put the counter [c] at the beginning of the new filename and define it with 2 digits, then you can use
search for:
01|02|03|....
reaplace:
a|b|c|...

You leave "Replace all occurences" unchecked so you don't risk replacing something you don't want to replace.

You save it ...

so why not using "copy name as text" when you select a folder?

Another problem:
After using "Close all folder tabs" in one tab, activating a saved layout (with hotkey or from layout edit window) doesn't work like it should. Either both, or only one panel don't/doesn't change to the correct folder.

You can add "new tab" from "Define action toolbar" --> "Address"

Examples:
Using the letter Î in the middle of the sentence is not accepted anymore.
The word "zîvorît" not only that doesn't make sense, but also is written wrong.

I don't use RO language in FC, but I can confirm that SharpeNofficial is right.
It should be"zăvorât", but the term is out-dated.

btw, I had completely forgotten about this option in freecommander.ini.
So for those who don't know, this is about:
DateFormatCreateFileFolder and TimestampFormatCreateFileFolder options from that file.

What annoys me is that I have to edit the ini files while FC is not ...

BTW, Have anyone tried to open lots of file? Let's say more than 15.
If I select the files and ENTER, nothing happens.
If I select and F4 (edit with defined app) all the files are opened.

If I'm not wrong, this was not happening a few versions before.

I suppose fixed for next version, because at least for "FreeCommanderXE-64-donor_portable794.zip" the bug is still there.

So instead of "..\editor.exe" I should have used"%FcSrcPath% \..\editor.exe"

Relative paths with %FcSrcPath% seem to work everywhere, except for items in "Favorite items" (CTRL+SHIFT+F) which are displayed in "Favorites tree" (ALT+F).

Drag an drop the file into ".." at the top of the folder. That should work.
