Interesting, with release 693 (64Bit) I can now copy from within archives using the copy command (F5). And with ZIP files but not with RAR I can also drop and drag them.

Copying from within a Zip/RAR
Using FC XE2015 Build 685a 64Bit on a Win 8.1 machine. If I enter a ZIP/RAR file and then try to use either the splitter bar option or drag and drop to copy a file to the other window the process fails (I think it's being defeated by UAC but not 100% sure). Thanks - it seems like part of my problem was confusing View and Quickview. I've now got the Quickview displaying in the opposite panel but it doesn't fill the panel, the underlying file list view still occupies part of the right hand side of the panel, unlike FC2009 where it completely replaced it....

Quickview in second window
In FreeCommander when I invoke Quickview on a file in the Left Hand panel the results are shown in the R.H. panel. In FC XE Quickview always seems to open the viewer in a separate Window which obscures the view of other files. I've tried the obvious options (One Viwer per Panel/ Use Opposite Panel) ...
