My configuration is atypical.

Currently the option "File/folder operations -> External tool is used for drag&drop" is ignored for the tree nodes (you should activate the option for the next release).
Fixed for the next release.

Very generous of you since my use-case is I imagine quite uncommon.

I post this only to draw Marek's attention to my new reply in a month-old post (because I can't PM him) since did some testing and found that it's (at least) external file-handlers via drag-and-drop within the same pane that broke several weeks ago.

OK, I got exasperated with this situation, and un-/re-installed FC.

TeraCopy worked on the initial new install, when I copied a file between panes. But only after I changed this setting:
File/Folder operations|General|both Copy & Move enable Use external program

Then I did the rest of my ...

Now I find I need to add this to get TerraCopy to work (and even then, it now only works between panes, no longer within the same pane, as I'm about to post in Bugs):

Ooops, sorry, yes, it is Drag&Drop that TeraCopy isn't working with.

Hmm, I've been on Win10 just 17 months. Two years ago I was on 8.1 on a motherboard that died; I can't recall if it had this issue.
