Hi Marek,

now I have had chance to switch to laptop and back to bigger monitor.
Of course the columns and tree were "somehow". So, I tried to apply the layout which I have saved 2 days back.
But no luck.
The tree size is out of control, it is bigger than last time and so not all of the columns are ...

this I already do, but the bad thing is, that there I have also tree view for both panes, which is behaving always "somehow". Swithing the profile does not help fully.
The tree size is always changing to something ... and I can not cotrnol it.

EDIT:
Sorry I was not precize enough, I was using ...

Resolution...
Good point. It is not only about resolution.
It depends also on "scale and layout settings", which at laptop is on 125%.
But on big monitor is 100%.
Sometimes I am also connected to beamer, which has some wider resolution than fullHD but once ...

Hi Marek

I would like to ask for feature to set column profile and tree width dependend on windows size.

Background...

If I work on my big monitor, the resolution is 1920*1080 and I have set the column widths just perfect for my needs. I also have saved this as column profile as office.pepo.2024 ...

Workaround: close Free Commander and then shut down the PC.
Well, well!, joby_toss, really excellent answer. What a workaround! Why I haven't found it by myself... However wait, I am doing this all the time!

Now to be honest, this is not a joke forum, I was asking for help.

first the situation:
I am shutting down my PC always with many programs opened. There is no problem for the programs as there is no necesary info which I shouldn't loose. In portable freecommander (previous standard version), it was also no problem for FC standard.
But now with the new FCxe ...
