Re: Thanks To the Help of Board Members, Here's My Configura
Seems like a powerful program, indeed. I'll put it through its' paces tomorrow, and see what I think of it. Might have some good potential, I'll give it a week or so to see what it can do. Thanks for pointing me towards it!

Re: Thanks To the Help of Board Members, Here's My Configura
P.S. I added some more info about the way I'm using PowerPro in a TPFC forum post. Thanks for the information! I have to leave for a while now, but when I return, I will read and study the post. Perhaps it is something I might be interested in... you never know. I love to learn, and to practice and...

Re: Thanks To the Help of Board Members, Here's My Configura
Looks good to me! But how do you launch your frequently used programs, like internet browser, etc... ?? I don't see any buttons for your regular programs......

Thanks To the Help of Board Members, Here's My Configuration
Here's what I've come up with as far as changing the looks and functions of FreeCommander XE after a couple days of learning how to work with it. Hopefully I can figure out how to attach an image to this post... Here goes.. https://copy.com/L8CdkXoqgzjJ I still have a ways to go, to get the final lo...

As do I. I appreciate your help, time, and efforts to answer my questions! Take care...joby_toss wrote:I'm sure there is such an internal command, just not available for the status bar yet.
I hope Marek will take care of this.

Re: Is there a FCXE internal command to show the TotalDiscSi
I believe I did not express myself correctly. All those choices in the screenshot show either the total size of selected items, or the total size of all items on a disc. What I'm looking for is the command string to show the size of the disc/partition, no matter how much of it is being used at the m...

Is there a FCXE internal command to show the TotalDiscSize ?
I am well under way to customizing TCXE to look the way I want it to look, and to display the information that is important to me. I am running into one snag, however. In the Status bar, I have managed to remove information that is not important to me, personally, such as how many files I have selec...

Re: Is it possible to apply color to the toolbars?
You're welcome. Regarding the menu - There is a workaround, don't use menu at all, use the toolbar button to show menu as context menu instead, or/and button to quickly show/hide menu. Outstanding!! That got rid of the stark grey top-most bar that was mostly empty! Excellent advice, and the lister ...

Re: Is it possible to apply color to the toolbars?
Hello Dreamer, and thank you for the warm welcome!! I also thank you for heading me in the right direction. I followed your instructions to the letter, only to find that I had already set those parameters just exactly as you described. So, I sat here and pondered what could be different from what yo...

Is it possible to apply color to the toolbars?
Hello all, new member, and new user of FreeCommander XE for about 3 days now. I've been using Dopus for the last 6 years or so, but it's such a memory hog that I went on a search for an excellent file browser with all the features I want and need. I am VERY impressed with FCXE so far, regarding func...
