665 can not rename folders and files with leading spaces

Hi!

665 public beta can not rename a file (or folder) when someone deletes ALL the leading spaces.
For example:
I have a file named " foo" (with 2 spaces) and I try to rename to "foo" (no spaces) -> failed.
but " foo" (2 spaces) renamed to " foo" (1 space) -> succeeded.
and " foo" (1 space) to "foo ...

Yeah. I reckon it's not a groundshaking issue, but it still bugs me, I don't like the drive buttons - have almost 15 drive letters because of network drives. Getting the root folder every time can be very annoying, so I keep tabs to get around.

Thanks for the reply.
I haven't tried the scenario you'd mentioned (using Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit work comp), but I suspect this bug may has nothing to do which MS OS used(?). I will try on XP what you wrote, if I see one.

This bug have been present through many earlier versions and still exists (I think, it is a bug):

If View -> Drives -> General -> "Show drives as popup button" option checked, the "Same folder like the other panel" option on "Select Drive" panel does not work. (Selecting a new drive from the ...
