JPGs on connected phone open in wrong app
Hi. My Android phone is connected to my PC via USB. When I navigate to the pictures folder of the phone and double click an item, it opens in the wrong viewer. I want to use IrfanView for all my pictures. I have set this as the default in Windows for all image files. In FreeCommander XE the files ar...

Highlight encrypted files and folders in green
Hi. Would it be possible to add highlighting for encrypted files and folders? In Windows file manager the names are displayed in green . So far as I can tell, there is no equivalent in FreeCommander. I am using FreeCommander XE 2018 Build 770 32-bit public. I first noticed this when I was trying to ...

Re: Can't save settings
Hi Joby, Thanks for supplying the answer. I had not spotted this setting. And I thought it might not work - but it does !! The path to the settings file is stored in the settings file itself. It sounds like you will go round and round in circles. But it's OK. It must save that path separately from t...

Can't save settings
Hi Marek. I just installed FreeCommander 2009.02b. I was unable to save my settings from the Extras menu. It was trying to save it in C:\Program Files\FreeCommander which is not allowed and gave an error message. It looks like it should store the settings in C:\Users\Bob\AppData\Roaming\FreeCommande...
