Re: FreeCommanderXE-64-donor_portable771.zip bundles build 768 instead

Indeed.
I probably got tacled by auto-updated Windows shortcuts (was running from a total different dir after moving previous release dir)
Sorry about that

Re: Favorites : additionnal visual codes (colors, lines)

I dare a little bump here (since I feel the topic may be perceived as final, most of the hard work being already done) : - would it be possible to make those background colors ALSO visible in drop down lists from the menu Favorites or panel shortcut button Favorites ? (as of today, they are only in ...

Balancing width between tree and list in a single panel

Hello, I commonly use dual panel with a folder tree on each side in addition to a file list (4 actual sub-panels) Balancing and resizing is pretty well handled through different options between panels. However, balancing between tree and list sub-panels in each panel is quite arbitrarily proportiona...

Re: Slow copy/paste on Win7 (FC hooking to something -> anti-virus)

Hello, I've made some significant progress investigating that recurrent problem : it now is obvious to me that it relates to anti-virus software and some post-op hook (like post create, delete, copy files) that anti-virus subscribed to the os. Facts : - It happens with AVG as well as Avast (separate...

Re: Favorites : additionnal visual codes (colors, lines)

background color, it's been implemented ! (when ? I could see font color change in log as of 745 but I haven't spotted that much desired one) THANKS ! Just a very last point : those colors currently only apply in the lateral tree view and not in drop down lists from the menu Favorites or panel short...

Recursive consolidation of files/folder count

Currently (as of build 755, 64b), extra columns Files and Folders do only show how many files and folders live within the proper directory, not below in sub-directories, which IMHO is of limited interest. It would be nice that those two columns be recursively aggregated/consolidated so that total nu...

Re: Favorites : additionnal visual codes (colors, lines)

Hi, I hate being pushy on a feature request but I feel like 99% of the job has been done when you implemented font color on favorite list. Could you please add the little supplementary button to also configure background color ? I wanted to upload an image to show you the visual effect it yields and...

Ctrl-C yields List Index out of bounds

Hello,

Weird one appeared with Build 748 32-bit donor (upon Windows 7) : when I either Ctrl-C or menu Edit > Copy, I get that "List Index out of bounds" error popup (whereas context menu "Copy" or using menu File > Copy won't cause the problem).

Thanks

Re: Search profile doesn't retain Timestamp "Not older optio

Hi Marek, There may be a regression around that feature : when I open FC, create a folder and a file within, searching for "Not older than" -> 1 day won't list the file whereas fiddling +1 -1 day and search again will do the trick (?) I'll be more specific than last time on version : I'm currrently ...

Re: Hardlink reference count

I just checked that symlinks (both file & directory) are visible through additional Windows column "Link Target"
Junctions targets (and thus status) are not visible though.
I would be nice that column be searchable.

Re: Hardlink reference count

+1 on this one
And it would be so useful to also be able to track symlinks (files, folders) and junctions.
(?)
Thanks

Re: Favorites : additionnal visual codes (colors, lines)

Hello, It's been implemented in build 745, nice ! (THANKS) Note that : - adding background color option would be even more useful than font color (stripes of colors are visually more impacting) - (bug:) font color is visible at edit time and in the side tree but not in drop-down lists from the main ...

Re: Favorites : additionnal visual codes (colors, lines)

Hi Karol, I have, yes, but it appears to me as another hierarchy level already offered through Folders (just an additional invisible top level where one can swap between projects/contexts for instance). I don't deny the value of folders (my folder hierarchy would speak for me !) but at some point, o...
