Hi Mr-Fly, Thanks for all the shorctuts, it will be very useful ;) And, indeed, I haven't try these... I continue to think that a direct access to the dos prompt (and not a direct search in the filename) is more interessant, but it's my opinion... But, it miss still one important aspect in the direc...

Batch Renaming ? +1 !

Yes,

I find the TC Batch renamer very complete, with the possibility to add some counter, range, date of creation, or anything else in the filename.

+1 for the replace tool ! Very important !

Any response ? I find that's a really strong difference between TC and FC... Very useful to don't use the mouse ! (Or have 30 share drives connected on your computer permanently)

NC Insert Selection Order

Hi,

Another thing :

When you are in thumbnails view, and you want to select a lot of files in NC mode, the selection sequence is not the good one, it selects automatically the first thumbnail down, and not the first thumbnail at the right...

Very disturbing.

File Naming Convention

Hi ! I think it will be cool if the filename was always with the first letter in uppercase and the others in lowercase, the extension always in lower case. It's more easy to read a directory with this feature. Btw, suppress the extension in the name, and add it into a new column. (Already made with ...

I think it will be very useful that Freecommander have it's own file manager for "copy", or "move" commands...

Congratulations Marek, Great Program this FreeCommander. I have used totalCommander for 10 years, because no other real substitute was available. Now, there's Freecommander on the net. And it's a really good soft... Some features are still missing, but you're on the right track.. If you want a beta ...
