I continue to think that a direct access to the dos prompt (and not a direct search in the filename) is more interessant, but it's my opinion...

I find the TC Batch renamer very complete, with the possibility to add some counter, range, date of creation, or anything else in the filename.

Hi,
When you try to connect a shared drive with the dos prompt direclty, FC doesn't ask login/password if you aren't connected to the drive. It simply says that the drive is unknown...
Improvement ?

Another thing :
When you are in thumbnails view, and you want to select a lot of files in NC mode, the selection sequence is not the good one, it selects automatically the first thumbnail down, and not the first thumbnail at the right...
Very disturbing.

I think it will be cool if the filename was always with the first letter in uppercase and the others in lowercase, the extension always in lower case.
It's more easy to read a directory with this feature.
Btw, suppress the extension in the name, and add it into a new column. (Already made ...

Hi,
I think it's very useful to have a direct access to the dos prompt, without a click before....
In fact, it's really fast when you want change your current drive to a network share or drive directly via the dos prompt... Or directly type a dos command, or anything else...

I think it will be very useful that Freecommander have it's own file manager for "copy", or "move" commands...
