Re: Inconsistent blocking behavior during deletion from opposite Panel

In the first instance, you are trying to delete the parent folder of the folder you are currently accessing.
Windows explorer behaves in exactly the same way, which is where the pop-up comes from in the first place.
The second instance, deleting a file, shouldn't impact the other panel in any way.

Re: ICO files turn to blank white when there are shown in both Panels and one icon file is deleted

Strange! I can now reproduce following steps from the original post. However, it does not seem to be consistent. Sometimes it occurs in the right panel, sometimes left. It appears to be different depending on the view modes of the 2 panels, i.e. list-list, detail-detail, list-detail, detail-list. Ed...

Re: ICO files turn to blank white when there are shown in both Panels and one icon file is deleted

Yes, I can reproduce it following these steps:

- use same path with ico files only in both panels
- use list view in left panel
- use details view in right panel
- copy paste 1 ico file in left panel

Strange, I am unable to reproduce any of the above scenarios.

Re: How to open Resources Monitor in maximized window?

Actually, you don't need to run cmd.exe at all.
Program or folder: %windir%\sysnative\resmon.exe
Run: Maximized

Re: How to open Resources Monitor in maximized window?

You are correct. I failed to run from 32-bit FC.
However, this WILL work for Favorite toolbar entry:

Program or folder: %windir%\sysnative\cmd.exe
Parameter: /c start /max resmon

Edit:
If command prompt window annoys you, check Run: minimized

Re: How to open Resources Monitor in maximized window?

How about "start /max resmon"?

Edit:

In Favorite toolbar,
Program or folder: resmon.exe
Run: maximized

Thanks Marek. I was just trying to figure out why Dreamer and horst.ep did not have the same issue.

Re: Compressed icon support in viewer.

It is strange. I was prerviously running version 875 portable and it had the same issue.

My Windows 10 version is 21H2, Build 19044.2251

Edit:
FC version 875 used ielib64.dll version 6.0.3.0
FC version 880 now uses ielib64.dll version 6.0.4.0

Re: Compressed icon support in viewer.

https://iconarchive.com/download/i44089/wwalczyszyn/iwindows/Folders-Windows-Folder.ico Since Windows Vista Microsoft has used png compression for icon sizes 256 or greater. So, this format is very common. Viewing with ICLView plugin from Total Commander, the 256 x 256 size is shown as compressed. I...

Compressed icon support in viewer.

When viewing Windows icons with png compression using internal viewer, I get 'Loading error... File format is not supported.' Could support for these be included for internal viewer? I currently use ICLViewer plugin to view icons, but I much prefer FC's internal one. Thanks! FC version 880 Windows 1...

Re: Internal viewer highlighting

O.K. I think I may have found the answer. It looks like FC is simply inverting the colors. I examined the colors in hex mode. Normally, the hex columns are light cyan and yellow, with the ascii panel white on black. When highlighted the colors are exactly inverted in both panels, which is actually a...
