I tested with another program, not with ReNamer, so perhaps it's working with one of the parameters.
It's possible to use big icons for everything in FC, for Define favorite toolbars it's "Toolbar options" tab - "Use big icons", it's even possible to use captions.

Re: How to launch ReNamer with selected files?
You're welcome. I tested with another program, %ActivSel% worked with a hotkey, but not with drag&drop, %ActivSelName% worked for both. All keyboard shortcuts are customizable, you can change or/and add any shortcut also as a second shortcut, just filter "fav", click to Favorite 01, or...

Re: How to launch ReNamer with selected files?
Create a favorite tools item for ReNamer, use Parameter and drag&drop files to this item or/and assign a hotkey for this item.
Code: Select all
%ActivSelName%

Re: FileContainers naming scheme adjustments
I created 12 file containers and they are sorted correctly in the FileContainers folder, from 1 to 12.
Workaround, create file containers or just copy/paste, go to folder FileContainers, press Ctrl+A, F2 and use Multi rename to rename to format you want.

Re: Freely adjustable Splitter
It is already possible for years, just use the left part of the splitter bar, left click and move, or left double click to set to to 50:50.

Re: Triggering some programs with context menu sends them to background
I can reproduce it in 880 32-bit public, always. I can't reproduce it in 889 64-bit donor, never. I have a similar problem with another program, after some action, program dialog is opened in foreground, but sometimes the same dialog is opened in background, in both 64-bit and 32-bit version of the ...

Re: App state fragility
If the program is crashing often, try to find the reason and report it, please, it's not normal. Workaround for the suggestion - main menu - Tools - Save Settings. It's possible to create a toolbar button for "Save Settings" and even keyboard shortcut, so if you open the new tabs, you can ...

Re: Rename window upgrades - visuals and inconsistent behavior
I don't understand what exactly do you want. If you want to place it in the middle, just place it there and don't change its position. If you want to place it elsewhere, just place it there and don't change its position. If you want to use more than 1 position, you'd have to switch the option every ...

Re: Rename window upgrades - visuals and inconsistent behavior
You can just move it to center and it will be always in center, or move it anywhere and it will be there, so you can choose it already.
To move a dialog directly to center, you can use HotkeyP or other similar tool.

Re: Enter key with mouse-selected files = incorrect behavior
This is contrary to the behavior of Windows Explorer and alternate file explorers I have tried which, as expected, open the selected files. Strange, I tried 5 dual panel file managers and they work the same as FreeCommander. Anyway, in Windows Explorer (Windows 10 22H2), if any files are selected a...

Re: New option in the "Define shortcuts" dialog - Use F1 for showing help
It's in the Define keyboard shortcuts dialog, above "Current shortcut", but this option has bugs, reported here:
889: Crash on toggling 'Use F1 for showing help' - FreeCommander Forum
Please wait until these bugs will be fixed.

Re: Enter key with mouse-selected files = incorrect behavior
I can reproduce it, if the cursor is on the item [..] before selecting.
I can't reproduce it, if the cursor is over one of selected files.
I think it's not a bug, if the item [..] is focused, and other files are selected, go up is a correct behavior.
