Which version are you using?

Increase the spacing in the settings, or use the option "Draw caption without clipping".

Disable this option: "Use dialog window for rename".

It works good here, in 861 public, with default settings, only if the name is changed, Tab works, it switch the focus to the next item.

It doesn't work if the name is not changed, or if dialog is used for renaming.

You can try to delete unimportant files, or/and just wait few days.
