It's in the New folder dialog, possibly also in other dialogs.

If the cursor is moved to those white buttons, they are visible, but just while cursor is over the button.

Few issues:
- options "Toggle full screen mode with double click" could be enabled by default, it's a standard feature in image viewers too
- when switching between image file and text file, then again to image file, image toolbar is enable in fullscreen mode, it ...

To reproduce:
- use FC in window mode
- open any image in viewer window
- place the viewer window anywhere, e.g. to screen corner
- close viewer
- re-open viewer
= result - viewer window is opened in the middle of the main FC window, may be even off screen

EDIT: Same for the Multi rename window ...

What about the option "Show free space (drive button)" in Settings - View - Drives - General, is it enabled?

Workaround, using only mouse: right click the tab, "Move tab to other panel".

I had the same problem with the portable version, the current updated version works, confirmed.

Please just download it again, it should work good.

Implemented in 946:

Viewer - option added in the freecommander.ini in the section [TfcViewerForm]: ActivateCropOnImageLoading=0

Use value "1" to enable crop mode automatically.

I had that strange issue several times with Windows 10. It was always fixed itself after few days.

Perhaps you could try:
- start FC as admin (just for testing)
- 64-bit portable version, unpack it to ...

Cut / Copy / Paste buttons for Rename, New folder, New file dialogs.

Sometime selection is easier / faster with mouse, but then I have to use keyboard for cut or copy part of the name.

With the standard cut/copy/paste buttons for text it could be faster with mouse, just few clicks.

Insert current timestamp / date buttons from the Rename dialog would be useful also for "New folder" / "New file" dialog.

Rename dialog "date" icon is not transparent.

To reproduce use "dark mode" icons option.

Transparent icon is not used also when using "light mode" icons option, just it's not good visible, try to move a cursor to that icons to see it,

Rename icon "timestamp" icon is transparent, correct ...
