Re: can't drag files from elsewhere to drop in fc window

Re: 807 - Recycle Bin panel switch issue

822 - bug is still here and the same bug is when using a File container instead of Recycle bin.

To reproduce just open any File container in the right panel, switch to other window or desktop and click within the left panel, focus is changed to righe panel with the File container, same vice versa.

Re: Favorites Shift+Ctrl+0 (shortcut to 10th) doesn't work

Confirmed, 822 donor 64-bit, Windows 10 2004 64-bit, I tried to close all programs which could use it as a global shortcut, but still it could be some system global shortcut.

Re: 822/819: 4K screen (250%) Mapped network drives not showing

Just a suggestion, try to set big icons for toolbars, or/and flat icons option, restart needed - and perhaps change it back - or disable/enable drives bar.

Re: 822/819: 4K screen (250%) Mapped network drives not showing

My suggestion was to try 200%, if it would be usable for you, and you can increase the font size in FC, with 200% everything should look better than with 250% and perhaps less problems in FC and other programs. Regarding the icons, I meant icons in FC - and also try the flat icons, they are larger, ...

Re: 822/819: 4K screen (250%) Mapped network drives not showing

It's not a solution to your problem, but why are you using small icons? Big icons and size scaling perhaps 200% would look better, its possible to set big icons almost anywhere in FC. You can also set font size larger and it would be probably better too. With size scaling 200% it would be possible a...

Re: Opening multiple files concomitantly - Behavior

- Open with... - are you using install or portable version of foobar2000? Perhaps you need to use a standard install version.

- Editors - you need to press F4 in this case, not F3.

All these are just workarounds, but it should work with F3 or F4, still a single click as Enter.

822 - Default action - multiple files issue

To reproduce: - settings F12 > Programs > Default action - create new item for *.mp3, path for AIMP.exe (or another program, different as default) - %ActivSel% as Parameters - focus/select 1 mp3 file and press Enter - file is opened in desired program = correct - select 2 or more mp3 files and press...

Re: Opening multiple files concomitantly - Behavior

BTW Workarounds: - drag&drop items - right click and select "Open with ..." - Settings F12 > Programs > Viewers > create new item for *.mp3 (and others, if needed), path for foobar2000 (or another program), %ActivSel% as Parameters, then just select files and press F3, tested with 128 files - it sho...

Re: Opening multiple files concomitantly - Behavior

Now you said you are testing 18 files, it's a known issue, reported here: 796 - Opening multiple files at once - FreeCommander Forum There's a reply from Marek, but perhaps it was changed in Windows now and it could be fixed. I can reproduce the issue if 16+ files are opened in FC, also in AIMP, no ...

Opacity / semi-transparency

Audio players have this feature often, AIMP for example. My suggestions: - Set custom opacity for whole FC window - if it's inactive only - Set custom opacity for file list/tree panels only - if FC is inactive only - Set custom opacity for inactive file list panel and tree, if FC is active I'm not s...

Re: Opening multiple files concomitantly - Behavior

I tried the same file name, similar path with the same folder "&" and it works good here. Since we both are using the same FC and foobar2000 versions and same file names, perhaps it's a Windows bug, which was fixed in 2004 update? (I have Windows 10 2004 64-bit) Or it could be different Region setti...

Re: Opening multiple files concomitantly - Behavior

OK, I tested with the files with diacritical marks, FC 822 64-bit donor, FC 810a 32-bit public, AIMP, foobar200 (latest versions), everything work good. Perhaps the example with the exact file name could help, so I could test the same files, at least 2 examples. Or try this test, rename 2 mp3 files ...

Re: Opening multiple files concomitantly - Behavior

FAQ – FreeCommander - How can I test the donor beta version, or/and the 64-bit version? Anyway, it works good here, also with the 32-bit version - 810a public, strange, I don't know where is the problem. Is your Windows 64-bit? EDIT: What about file names - any special characters, non-English, diac...

Re: Opening multiple files concomitantly - Behavior

Are you sure about the FC version? If you are a donor, upgrade to 822 64-bit donor, if not, use the version 810a 32-bit public. I'm not sure, but it's probably some option in foobar2000, try these: Preferences > Shell Integration: Sort incoming files by: %path_sort% Restrict incoming files to: * Exc...
