Re: 743 - Tab font color lost sometimes

Update, tested with 813: - use default settings (probably not needed) - settings > view > folder tabs > tab colors - click Active file container Tab color button (2nd from top - or 3rd, 4th) = "font" item is there - now click the color button for Inactive panel > Active Tab (5th from top, or 6th, 7t...

Re: Text Color of activated tab

It is possible to set also the font color for active and inactive tab. I think there is a bug there, try to close the setting window, or/and restart FC and the font color in context menu of the color buttons should be available. I already reported that bug, I'll try to find it, or I'll create a new ...

Re: default location for output file

I think it's not possible now, so I moved this topic to Feature Requests forum. Perhaps something like in Rename dialog, drop down menu with last used paths could be added - or the Profiles tab as in Multi rename, with options to add custom paths, first path could be current path. Workaround - you c...

Re: [..] item behavior

Topic moved from "FreeCommander (old version)" forum / unlocked and the suggestion was updated. I think the current behavior for [..] and F2 is useful, so it could be useful for other actions too and it could save some time and clicks, for selecting all items 2 keys are needed (Ctrl + A). If the fol...

Re: Rename current folder

There is a 10 year old suggestion from me in the FreeCommander (old version) forum, I moved this topic and I'll change / update it. Here is the link:

813 - [..] item delete causing FC to freeze

To reproduce: - use default settings - in Settings > view > file/folder list > refresh enable all options, 5 checkboxes - create a folder "test" - enter this folder - right click the[..] item and click "Delete" = FC freeze completely, no option is available, it looks it's inactive, but it's not poss...

Re: Rename current folder

I just found, it's possible, right click the [..] item, select Properties and change the name in that field.

There is an item "Rename" in the context menu too, but it doesn't work.

Re: 813 - White default color scheme - wrong colors in viewer

EDIT: OK, this one is not a bug. I tried to reproduce it with default setting and I found possibly related issue. - use default settings - focus any text file - enable quick viewer - right click the QV title bar - settings - set Background color to black and Text color on Text tab to white - apply -...

Re: 813 - White default color scheme - wrong colors in viewer

OK, it works with default settings, but it's broken with custom settings, looks like some colors from freecommander.ini file are used and the FcCs_White_Default.colors file don't have these colors, so they are not loaded and replaced from this file.

I sent you the ini file for testing.

Re: Cloud Drives in Drive Toolbar?

Another way is to use tabs, locked tabs, perhaps disable text, add icon and have some quick access to some paths.

Re: feature request: implement activation by hovering for icon "up one level"

OK, thanks for clarification.

Anyway, I think it would be hard to use - and with the folder, I think you suggested too, it would be even more confusing, path would be changing on cursor movement...

Re: feature request: double click to create a tab if no tabs are visible

Click a bit higher, or disable the option in Settings > view > address bar > general > show history popup menu on free area click. In both cases there's a conflict though. Anyway, another easy way to create new tab is to middle click the [..] item, in this case it will open the new tab with the same...

Re: feature request: double click to create a tab if no tabs are visible

I think it's impossible, it has a function already, edit path. If you're using tabs, why not use the option "Always keep one tab open"? Workaround, Ctrl+T or you can create the button "Tab: New folder tab" in address bar to create new tab with a single click. You can also middle click the folder in ...

Re: feature request: implement activation by hovering for icon "up one level"

Still can't reproduce. I'm not sure what you mean by "activation", try this: - enable nc-mode - restart FC - enable quick viewer with ctrl+q - set hover time to 500 - move a cursor to any file, e.g. image - quick viewer show the image - move a cursor to [..] item - quick viewer should show the text ...
