Just tried to find the second zip with the same error, it's
http://www.flotcharts.org/downloads/flot-0.8.1.zip
The identical issue occurs with 0 byte build.log in that file. Timon you're right, the file appears as folder.
best regards,
Martin

Re: 632 Unzip fails for some files
It is an empty file (0 bytes), and it is successfully unpacked. But it doesn't keep timestamp, isn't it ? It does keep the timestamp, but interesting enough the empty file is not being shown in the file list when browsing the file (open the zip file with the Return key), see https://dl.dropboxuserc...

632 Unzip fails for some files
Hi, I recently noticed, that unpacking of certain zip files showed some errors, so I did some investigation on that. As an example file you can use this one: http://openlayers.org/download/OpenLayers-2.13.1.zip If I unpack it, it throws a "Create directory failed" error on the file "e...

631 Editing new files fails
Hi, When editing a new file (shift-f4, enter filename, for example "test.txt"), the file "test.txt" is being created, but a file named "%ActivSel%" is being opened (which is the parameter from the editor command in preferences). I'm pretty sure that this did work with e...

copy.com icon overlay
Hi, This is a feature request. Currently FCXE doesn't show icon overlays for copy (that is copy.com, an alternative for Dropbox), it would be nice, to have those. I'm not sure, whether it's entirely possible to do that, since other file managers (e.g. total commander) are not supporting those as wel...

Re: FYI: Listary and FCXE
It would be nice if the builtin search-as-you-type feature could be disabled to eliminate the need of the hotkey ... however, there's a second issue, when I search a folder in Listary, open the folder this folder is opened properly in FCXE, BUT then ".." (go to parent folder) is not workin...

Re: 626 - No disk error dialogs on start
just for documentation, this error just occurred to me as well, my fix was to just delete the old ini file and create a new one. I do have the old ini file, which throws the error, if someone wants to reproduce this issue.

Re: Open Drive with Alt-F2, colored file list flickers
Ok, ad 1.) I just found that Ctrl-E opens the current folder in the other pane, that does the trick.

Open Drive with Alt-F2, colored file list flickers
Hi, There are two small issues in the 608 preview release for me: 1.) I'm not sure whether this is some expected behavior. Take the following scenario: - left pane shows C:\Users\xxx\Documents - right pane shows D:\some folder when I now change the drive on the right pane to drive C with "ALT-F...

Re: Focus for keyboard usage, Network performance
No it does take more than 1 sec ... sometimes FC hangs up to 10 seconds, depending on how many files there are.
The fix from the thread BGM doesn't work for me (the settings is not checked).
In my case, the network drive is a DFS tree.

Martin

Focus for keyboard usage, Network performance
Hi, I'm pretty much happy with FreeCommander XE except of some (minor) issues: 1.) When entering a folder with "Enter", the keyboard focus is not on the ".." for parent folder, but one virtual line above. So basically you have to press "key down" once to have the keyboa...
