I'm seeing this, too (with cut-and-paste instead of delete)

Thank you for the reply!
Are there any plans to make it rebindable in the future?

Rebind keyboard shortcut for switching between Tree & Panel
Hi everyone!
I've got the Tree panel open and one other panel as well. I know that I can switch between them using the keyboard via Shift+Tab .
Is Shift+Tab still an internal keyboard shortcut, or is it possible to rebind that to another key?

Re: Switch between Dual Panel & Tree?
Ok, I just downloaded, installed, and ran FC XE 2014 Build 665 Public Beta.
Still on an x86 laptop running Windows 8.1
I've got the Favorites, Tree and One Panel open and both Tab and Shift-Tab don't seem to do anything. Nothing happens regardless of which window has the focus.
BTW - is there a ...

Re: Switch between Dual Panel & Tree?
Actually, I think I spoke too soon.
When I went back to my PC and tried it out I found that neither Tab, nor Shift+Tab switches between my Tree view and my One Panel.
(Also - I can't find Shift+Tab listed anywhere in the Tools -> Define Keyboard Shortcuts list anywhere - could that be the problem ...

Re: Switch between Dual Panel & Tree?
Aha - that clarifies things a lot!
Is it possible to rebind those keys?
I found the Tools->Define Keyboard Shortcuts, but when I try to assign something to 'Tab' by pushing the tab key the focus instead shifts to the next widget in that dialog.

Re: Search asks me to pick a search folder, does nothing els
Hey, that works - thanks! :D
And, looking around through the menus I see
File->Search (Ctrl+F)
and
Folder->Search (the one I found)
(If I might be so bold, perhaps Folder->Search ought be renamed? Maybe something like Navigate To...?)
Is Folder->Search useful for when one doesn't have the Tree ...

Switch between Dual Panel & Tree?
I'd like FreeCommander to show me a tree view, which I have done using View->Tree
I don't need the extra panel, so I selected View->Dual/One Panel
My problem is that I can't switch between the Tree and Panel using my keyboard. "Tab" no longer does anything.
Interestingly, if I open the Favorites ...

Search asks me to pick a search folder, does nothing else
I'm running FreeCommander XE 2014 Build 650
I'm running Windows 8.1 on a laptop
When I select Folder->Search all I get is this dialog, which appears to be asking me to select a "Search Folder":

Re: open multiple files?
This appears to be fixed for files in a normal Windows folder, but I'm seeing this same behavior when opening several files inside of a .ZIP archive.
Is there something I'm missing, or is this a missing feature (or bug)?
FC is great, by the way - thanks for making it!
