Permissions problem with new version
The 2009.02b version works fine, but the new XE 2019 version messes up file permissions. When I try to open Visual Basic 5 by double-clicking on the .vbp file, then try to save that file after updating my version number, I get a "Path/File access error: "xxxxxxxxxxxx.vbp". It then cre...

Windows 8 and FcContextMenu64.exe crashes
Occasionally Windows 8 (64-bit) gives me a crash report regarding FcContextMenu64.exe. I simply open task manager and delete this process and nothing seems the worse for wear. But it shouldn't crash. I am running the 2009.02b (12.09.2010) version. UPDATE - I have seen the bulletin and link to update...

Re: Error 1294 when zipping files with password
I did not get an error and the zip file was created. But I don't like the interface as well. PLUS now when I go back to my regular install of FreeCommander, the zip screen is all screwed up. Why did my settings change on my regular version? I can't change the target archive. What's going on here? Ok...

Re: Error 1294 when zipping files with password
I'm sorry, but the XE version does not seem to work at all. I click on "Configure" in the "Pack files" window and nothing happens. So I can't enter a password or anything. Okay, I went into the Settings menu under "Extras" and made some changes there - now when I click ...

Error 1294 when zipping files with password
I have a directory tree with files that I am trying to zip up. There is the root directory with files, several child sub-directories with files, and some of those child sub-directories also have sub-directories with files. I get Error 1294 when I try to zip up all the directories and files ONLY when...

After search has compiled a list of files . . .
please allow me to select more than one of the files in the search list and be able to open them all in my text editor. Right now I can only select and do one file at a time.
Thank you.
Thank you.

More favorite folders & refresh directory listing
Please add more favorite folders than just the 10 defaults.
Please make the directory listing re-display new folders when they have been added or copied - it doesn't always do this.
Thank you.
