That is indeed an unexpected result. Strange.
Can you repeat the error? Or was it a one-time oddity?
Is this an ongoing problem in other searches?
Thank you for your ...

Re: Wrong Search results in build 609

After confirming that un-selecting "Search in archives" made my search work, I ticked that option again, hit "Find" button and got an unexpected result, as seen in the attached image. What ...

Re: Wrong Search results in build 609
I actually thought ticking that option meant that search should include archives also.
Thank you for the explanation, though.
By the way, I noticed FC EX's files/folders search doesn't auto-complete file name based on history, or should it?

Wrong Search results in build 609
When searching files from name (partial, in this case) FC XE 0.0.0.609 gets no results, when there are actually several files that match. FC 2009.02B, however, works right.
FC XE search takes longer than FC's too.

Multi-rename not implemented yet
When trying to rename several file at a time FC XE returns "Will be implemented soon"; although it's in the "Done" list of FreeCommander XE - Preview of the next version page.
Multirename is a very useful tool. Hope will be available soon.

Search functionality can't read inside .odt files
FreeCommander version: XE 0.0.0.550 public preview
OS: Windows XP Professional SP3
When searching .odt files with certain specific text, FC doesn't get results. It works with .doc files.
