i have the latest non-beta, official version. but i'll go ahead and check out the pre-release again since it's been updated. the first one didn't do it for me.

Thanks so much for answering, but my settings look nothing like the pic example (except the top half) and has no position setting for the viewer. I'm using the latest version as far as i can tell. but i will try the ini file. thank so much.

I'm missing something really obvious i know, but it's driving me crazy and searches bring up everything but what i'm looking for. guess it's just too simple:

how do i change quickview to the right panel instead of the bottom so i can still view both my upper and lower panes and the quickview panel ...
