I haven't tried the latest version yet, but like the OP said if you go into a folder and hit the back arrow or use alt-left to go up to the parent folder, the folder you just came from isn't selected and if it's a long list you have to ...

Still exists in 2009.02b...I noticed this within 5 minutes of using the program. Very frustrating when there's little problems like this.
