[SOLVED] Behavior of drag & drop on tree folder
Hi,
I have recently noticed that dragging and dropping a file from a file list panel to the folder tree display (toggled by Alt+T by default) opens a new tab at the target folder. It seems to me that this drag & drop operation used to open a context menu.

Multi rename profile name changes not saved
Hi,
I think I came across a bug with the names of profiles in the Multi-rename window.
I selected a few PDF files in the right pane window (these are my bank account statements that I had just downloaded) and I switched to the Profiles tab to select a renaming profile that I had saved in the past ...

Re: "Change to the last active tab" item, button, shortcut
I'm wondering if this is ever coming to FreeCommander. See Ctrl+Tab cycling through the most recent tabs
Once again, I've come to ask for this feature, did a search before posting, and realized that I had already asked about it.

Re: long time, no new public release
It's been almost 11 months since the last public release.
I wonder how many of the non-paying suggestions have made their way into the latest donor release?
I am a donor since 16/02/2012, almost ever since I came across FreeCommander, and my only pet peeve is this . As you can see, it's been 47 ...

[Feature suggestion] Compute SHA checksums
FreeCommander currently boasts one of the most useful (to me) features, that is the ability to compute MD5 checksums. What I have been noticing these last years though is that SHA checksums are becoming more and more visible, if not dominant, when it comes to checksums and digests of files offered ...

Re: Revert the icon set
I couldn't have guessed
I looked for "icons" in the settings window.
I've changed it and I'm satisfied. Thank you.

Re: Mainicon changed? Why?
Thank you, that's exactly what I did. But this, I hadn't followed, which explains why the icon (pinned to Windows 8.1 taskbar) didn't change:

Revert the icon set
Hi,
I've just read another topic when someone said that the new flat icon looked "chic" so I guess there are other people out there who dig this style of icon design.
I don't. And I've been disappointed to meet the new icon design when I last updated. Is there any way to change the icon set to ...

Re: Mainicon changed? Why?
@ralfso: in which section of the freecommander.ini file should fcIconNr=2 go? I've added it to the first section ([Form]), to no avail. Thx.

Suggestion: commands for cycling thru tabs in the LRU order
I have asked for this in the past but the post is very old (three years exactly) and it applies to the old version. Therefore, I am making this suggestion/asking for the feature again.
Currently, as user Scott_Y put it so well back then, Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab are shortcuts to reach the ...

Re: Add a Search box in the settings dialog box
@Scott: I totally agree that it's the cost of using beta software. I mean, every user should accept going through lots of options before finding the one that they are looking for.
However, I believe the "beta" aspect of software isn't really that explanatory or decisive when it comes to densely ...

Add a Search box in the settings dialog box
Hi,
I think a Search box is needed in the Settings window. There are just too many settings for me to remember exactly which path I should follow for each of the settings I happen to change.
