@Marek - thanks for that! There is now a "\fcxe\.wcx.ini" file saved, strangely (?) with only very few settings:


[fc_internal_zip]
fcZipCompressionMode=6
fcZipEncryptionMode=0
fcZipSfxStub=%FcSrcPath%
fcZipVolumeSize=10 MB


And that's it, no matter what settings I change, save, "apply", etc. Is ...

I'm having exactly the problem reported in post #1, but I cannot get FCXE to change my settings: it *always* tries to use %FcAppDataPath%. This is on a networked machine on which I am a "user" without full (only limited) rights to AppData.

Is there a command-line switch for path-to-ini, perhaps? I ...
