Re: Network Drives not woking
Not quite so good, I fear. I restarted the computer and was back to square one, So I tried your way -- back to WS. But after restarting again, the links were gone again. This works fine on my old PC. I set up the mapping years ago and it sticks, but not on the new replacement PC.

Re: Network Drives not woking
Thanks! Found it. In fact I have now managed to make it work doing exactly the opposite (changing from WS to FC). I did have to reconnect the drives in FC (they are already connected in Explorer) and then restart FC.

Re: incpomplete list of folders
I see that most folders have the read-only attribute, but the folders that don't show up have the hidden attribute grayed out?
I checked Google and this worked:
attrib -H -S -R d:\*.* /D

incpomplete list of folders
I am a little confused because there are 46 folders in my D: drive, but Freecommander only lists 21. The others are not hidden. Any suggestions?

Thanks!Timon wrote:You can choose what you want to do:

If you choose "save bug report", you save it as plain text and then send as attachment in Gmail through Chrome.

Outlook?
FreeCommander hit a hitch and wanted me to report it. Fine. But it then tried to open Outlook. Outlook prompted me to set it up. I don't use Outlook and my system is set up to send mail with Gmail through Chrome.

Re: Date format - display
Thanks Dreamer. I went through all the settings but missed seeing the time format. Getting old. Simon That's not quite my problem. I have two machines here. One Windows Vista, one Windows 7. They both have their windows date format set to UK (dd/mm/yy), and both have Freecommander set to use the Wi...

Media player
My (Samsung U3) media player shows up under Windows Explorer, but not in Free Commander. How does one access a drive like this? FC would be ideal for copying to and from the media player.

well, it did not work at all for me, I had to step back to the earlier 2007 version of FC. I see the red cross, but can access the drive. I just wish it would show as mounted, I mount a couple of network drive when the machine starts, but they seem to remain supposedly unmounted until explorer has ...
