Re: Replace _ with - when pasting text into file names with : ; or any ther non file name character
I would prefer replacing special characters with an addition/plus character (+) versus an underscore (or permit the user to configure what that replacement character should be within the Settings

Multi-Rename Droplist Focus
In the new build, CTRL-P will activate the Profile droplist and display the saved profiles; however, when directional/arrow keys are then used to select a saved profile the windows focus is immediately shifted to the File Name entry field, and subsequent presses of a directional key cycles previous ...

Multi Rename - Rename Files from Clipboard
I am requesting a feature found in Directory Opus that is extremely useful (but apparently rare among file managers or file renaming utilities): after selecting files/folders and sending them to the MultiRename window have an option to rename the selected files/folders from the Windows Clipboard. Th...

Re: SUGGESTION - MultiRename Window
Interesting.. I never knew the space bar did that! I would still prefer having the F2 as a hotkey to drop the list, as that is what Total Commander has and I have that keystroke burned into my skull... I would also like to see the length of the Profiles droplist at least doubled - the current width ...

SUGGESTION: Merge Folders
This is something I have sought within every File Manager I've ever used - the ability to merge subfolder contents into it parent folder (but NOT move files into the root folder). For example: Sample directory tree: d:\Docs\Invoices d:\Docs\Invoices\1 d:\Docs\Invoices\2 d:\Docs\Invoices\3 d:\Docs\In...

Re: SUGGESTION - MultiRename Window
Greetings, I have that option checked within my FC; after I select files/folders to rename from the main window on my Windows 10 box, the MultiRename window appears, but the profiles droplist is not activated to autodisplay the list of saved renaming profiles. I have to take my hand off the keyboard...

SUGGESTION - MultiRename Window
Please assign the F2 key as a hotkey to fully display the droplist of saved profiles for folks (like myself) that are more keyboard oriented. At current, there is no keyboard key assigned to that window control to 'drop' the list of saved renaming profiles

Re: 'New Text File' command - suggestion
Dreamer, You are correct - I somehow skipped over that command when selecting Splitter Bar buttons!! I would still like the option to pre-configure a file name so the popup modal window's entry field already contains a valid file name so all I have to do is smack the Enter key to start working on th...

Re: 'New Text File' command - suggestion
Hi BGM - on my Windows 10 box running the latest FC build (761) after I type a filename into the modal window and press OK control is returned back to FC - the file is not opened. Is there a configuration setting that I am missing someone to automatically open the file?
