I would appreciate the option to change the CTRL-E hotkey to fire an external editor in the multi-rename window to a keyboard key of my choosing.

My apologies - I somehow skipped over that configuration setting - thank you!!

1. Predefine what ASCII character will replace an illegal character during the Rename operation within the Multi Rename popup window. Currently it defaults to an underscore character - I would prefer to define it as a space character

Request: ability to assign a hotkey to the 'Rename using Text Editor' feature within the Multi Rename popup window

I would prefer replacing special characters with an addition/plus character (+) versus an underscore (or permit the user to configure what that replacement character should be within the Settings

Request: within the SETTINGS menu option please add the ability to define a default filename + file extension for the 'New Text File' command that would be automatically be entered into the popup dialog window

Interesting.. I never knew the space bar did that! I would still prefer having the F2 as a hotkey to drop the list, as that is what Total Commander has and I have that keystroke burned into my skull...

I would also like to see the length of the Profiles droplist at least doubled - the current ...

This is something I have sought within every File Manager I've ever used - the ability to merge subfolder contents into it parent folder (but NOT move files into the root folder). For example:
