FreeCommander seems to be loading the preview on an uninterruptable UI thread.

Repro Case:
Configure to display the Preview Pane. (I have a single details pane and a preview pane.)
Have several tabs (directories) available.
Click on a large DOCX file. (e.g. a 70MB legal contract) Size matters ...

It's taken a bit of work, but I'm closer to a resolution. Using Killcopy set up as follows:
FileMovePrg=killcopy.exe |%ActivSelAsFile%|%InactivDir%| -g-m
FileCopyPrg=killcopy.exe |%ActivSelAsFile%|%InactivDir%| -g

And also acting as the drag-and-drop handler, I now can get the Killcopy ...

A bit more detail... apparently FileCopyPrg does work, but only for F5. Drag & Drop between panes uses Windows instead. (And FC sometimes gets confused,not allowing some files to be dragged/dropped between panes.)

In theory I could have gotten past this by using a different copy mechanism with the FileCopyPrg= ini entry, but it's both undocumented (other than in a message from Marek) and non-functional.

I found a Marek reference to FileCopyPrg, but it doesn't seem to work. Another thread refers to DirMonSensitive. Neither of these appear documented anywhere. Is there a list of the INI settings not represented on the UI menues and their options?

Not really. I understand what he's saying (although I don't use Explorer that way.) Try this in both Explorer and FC:

Navigate to your FC directory.
Click once on ReadMe_fc2007.txt.
Wait 5 seconds. (Yes, count to five.)
Click once on ReadMe_fc2007.txt a second time.

Explorer will make the file ...

I am running Vista Ultimate with FreeCommander 2007.10a and am not able to reproduce this problem. Is this the same "address bar" that <alt-g> (by default) takes you to?
