It's not a dialog, but it should be enough... Settings > Confirmations > Show popup menu for left button drop. Well, later, I found this one as well. It's better than nothing, definitelly, but it doesn't allow you to change the name of the file e.g... In every case - thank you for your reply! :-)

I'm sorry. It ispossible to change selection colors in NC-mode. (Extras/Settings/Select items.) Yet, I think, it could be offered (or referenced) in Colors section as well.

Is it possible to display file names without extensions in the Name column, when extensions are displayed in the Extension one?

When I make my options in one category of Settings and switch to anothet category without confirming them with OK (which leaves Settings at all), FC sometimes forgets the changes made.

Thank you for your answer. Byt by "default set", I meant the set with which FreeCommander comes by default - it's not listed among custom column styles and it seems to be lost, once you choose your own style in View/Custom columns.
