Swap column data?
I have found a large number of files on a drive where the data is in the wrong columns. I was wondering if this program can swap the names from 'file name' column with the 'title column'?
Is so how is it done?

Using cut paste to eliminate duplicates?
My PC's have been giving me lots of problems especially with Windows 10. Many files have been backed up to other locations on other HDD's. Now that things are starting to improve I would like to eliminate all of the duplicates. For instance is it possible to say select all my photos(jpegs) or music(...

Compare files to select those that aren't the same?
I know that this program can be used to do a side by side comparison of files this allowing you to see any differences. I'm looking for a utility that will compare 2 files not to see if they are the same but the opposite. I wish to compare 2 files & then be able to select the files that aren't i...

Search for empty folders & sub folders & delete them all?
I have just come across an old HDD that has hundreds of empty files on it. Many of these folders also have sub folders as well that are also empty. Is there some way that I can use FreewCommander XE to search out all of these empty folders & then have them deleted?
Thanks in advance

Can F/C help detect duplicates?
In the last couple of years I have had both PC failures as well as HDD failures. As a consequence I have some backups of a file & many duplicates which are scattered over a few external drives. In some instances the file is alone & in other instances the files are in a tree structure. I was ...

Cut/or copy & Pasting only after comparing to weed out dupl
Is there any way to take a file or folder & copy it to another drive but only have it paste if the file doesn't already exist?
I'm trying to copy files from on drive to another & I'm uncertain if the exact same files already exist on the drive I'm pasting to ?

Change EXIF date from 'date modified' to 'date taken'?
Is it possible to access EXIF data that is embedded into photo files & then select a range of 'Date Modified' & change it back to 'Date Taker'? If so how is it done? The reason that I ask is that if you use programs like Windows Explorer or Photoshop Elements to do things as simple as rotate...

Set file extension default to no change?
When I click the CTRL M command to select Multi rename I see that the case options has the option displayed of 'no change'. Is there some way to get the file extension drop down to display 'no change' preferably as your default.

Thumbnails take too long to display
Your program is the best when it comes to renaming files. But when I try to rename video files (M2TS) I must start with thumbnail view so that I can see just what I'm selecting. I'm finding that it takes a very long time for the thumbnails to be displayed & once I have changed the first ones it ...

A few problems
When I right click on a thumbnail to rename a file I often can't do so because the pop window that is waiting for your new name has opened not on the top of other windows but somewhere else in the stack. I'm guessing that this is a Windows problem but just in case it isn't I thought that I should as...
