Re: Non latin languages show garbage
If this is required FC should warn user. But in my case, I doubt it is a reason -- for example I switched language in Opera w/o any problem.

Non latin languages show garbage
Steps:
1. run FC
2. go to preferences
3. select any non-latin language (russian, korean, chineese, etc)
4. observe the effect -- basically it looks like all characters in settings dialog were random
I can attach ss if you have problem reproducing this issue.

programs settings: independent conf. for editor and viewer
Currently you can set one global viewer for files (all) and editor per each file type. It would be more useful if user could set those (viewer and editor) per each type independently, for example: TYPE VIEWER EDITOR *.xml xml_viewer.exe xml_editor.exe *.txt ____________ notepad.exe *.cs visual_studi...

Re: copy dialog: please add more options
I didn't say I used google search per se. I used search button which is placed at the top, and the second one at the bottom.

Re: copy dialog: please add more options
Thank you for the reply.
Ad. search engine -- I don't know if it is google backend or not, but it sure filters out my query. Try it "copy dialog more options".

copy dialog: please add more options
I don't know if this is duplicate, because search engine stripped all words from summary as "too common". The wish is to add more options to the dialog like in Total Commander/Midnight Commander, related to duplicates (source<->target): ( ) overwrite (this) ( ) overwrite all ( ) overwrite ...

Re: Settings not saved
Since the content of this file was the same, I just quited FC and run it again. And now I can save settings.
So two first points still holds and the (c) is FC should change the directory for settings on fly.

Re: Settings not saved
Thank you.
a) I don't think making option for one global settings in nowadays systems (multiuser) make any sense)
b) per user option should be default
c) changing it to per user does not work -- FC still tries to save settings into Program Files

Settings not saved
Hi, Thank you for great program. I have found a bug though -- settings are not saved. The problem is FC tries to save settings into Program Files/FreeCommander directory which is denied. And even if it were possible I think it is a bad idea to save per user settings into global location. It should g...
