I confirm, the issue is reproducible when running as admin.
What is your FC and Windows version?
Can you reproduce it with any zip file?
What happens if after the step "- close the notepad2" you first go back from archiv and then close FreeCommander?

You can predefine 16 user colors if you use color schemes. From the color selection panel you should click on "More colors" and then you can define 16 user colors. Now if you use "Save color scheme..." the 16 colors are saved with the scheme. If you load the scheme your predefined colors are loaded ...

Quick filter uses font of the status bar. If you like to decrease the height of the status bar you should make the font of the status bar smaller.

Works fine here, no problem.
It is not recommended to start programs "as admin".
