Favorite Open in New Tab

Favorite Open in New Tab --

When using Favorites, I would like the option to open it into a New Tab.

This can be either a setting as the default to/not-to do so.
Or maybe a control-click on the Favorites menu would do it as well.

Simple Open in New Tab

Simple Open in New Tab -- I often have the need to open a folder into a new tab, both from the tree and from the file list. A simple method ( control-click ?? ) on a folder would be a nice capability. This would eliminate the necessity of opening a tab first and then doing the folder selection. If t...

Search File /Folders Form

File Search To make this excellent capability a little bit better, a few capabilities could be worthwhile... Set up a button for the properties collapse/un-collapse; the splitter is great functionality, but hitting it with a mouse is not always easy. When the properties are collapsed, do so on initi...

FolderList Additional Features

The FolderList creates a list that unfortunately does not take into account the date/time format of the locale, and as such the filename column is not consistently output at the same position. This leads to an editing of the list to 'line them up'. A feature to send out the 'raw' filenames (without ...

Syncronize File List Sort

Can we add the ability to sort the Sync list ?

I suspect that selecting the column header of the list would be he event, but maybe the selecting either side of the splitter bar would sort *both* lists according to the column header selected.

Selecting by the *condition type* may also be nice.

thx.

drag - drop providing dos 8.3 format, not full file name

R390

The DOS 8.3 file name format is being received by the drop target, which of course makes things really go strange there.

This may be how the receiving program interprets the drop info, but this does not happen when doing the same thing in Windows Explorer.

update on this issue

it seems to be related to the physical (logical?) area of the screen allowed to respond to the current mouse position. [ for this discussion we will talk only of when the number of items are longer than the viewable screen area and actually can support a scroll operation ] I normally operate in a mo...

r390 - mouse wheel works on files but not for directiry tree

tried R390

mouse wheel works well when over the 'files' pane, but never when over the 'directory tree' pane. I know it was working on both in prior versions, and worked (automatically became active) when hovering either (when the list exceeded the vertical space)

Mouse Wheel Response Lost

Mouse Wheel Response Lost v2009.1.0.388 (latest as of this post) Mouse wheel has always been working flawlessly, up to this version. Typically, the program 'knows' in what pane it is in, and will scroll as necessary in that pane. Now, the program seems to loose track of what pane the cursor is over,...

Go To Folder -- AV error

Go To Folder crashes on my system v2009.1.0.388 (latest as of this post) It has not worked for several beta versions, but I figured that it would be worked through the process. I create a new tab, so that the tab is not locked (which may be a problem in itselfif it was, so I create a new one) and ch...

Make Folder List -- File List - added button

to the Make Folder List (FOLDER ==> Make Folder List ) please add a button that would place the files (filename only, or with with relative path for those below current folder, probably comma-delimeted) into the clipboard this would also do a close on the dialog box. this comes in handy for creating...

File Filter Double Click

In the File Filter, once you have a set of oft-used filters set up, a double-click on one of the items in the list should do the 'select and OK' process, instead of requiring a second step

FC Search Files - Export File List

The Export File List is good, except often I would need a basic list of the files (full path and file name), not a list of the columns from the displayed list. The use of the list I suggest is to for direct use in an input stream that uses/requires a simple list of files for processing. The current ...

The Search Files feature does not seem to support the capability of dragging a file from the list and dropping it onto a program (icon or other receivable container)

this would replace my use the the Windows search program
