..Aldo downloaded the chm file, but not sure how to open it from within the file commander app...

1) click on the help [F1] key, FreeCommander prompts with the folder details where it is looking for the chm file.
2) right click on the path and copy it, paste the (extracted) chm file in that ...

@soiee, one more option would be to go to View --> Show --> Show command Line
Once enabled, you would see the full path of the active tab at the bottom. And since the command bar is common to both tabs, almost the entire screen width is available to show the path.
Even when you switch tabs the path ...

I recently made a big blunder while working within FC.
I overwrote some files by accidentally copying files from another tab... which brings me to this request.

Is it possible to mark a "tab as ReadOnly"?
