Re: Precede file name with check box
Thank you. I had experimented with NC mode, but missed the combination of settings in this solution.

Precede file name with check box
I searched the forum but didn't see any requests for this feature. FileExplorer and many apps have a check box before the file name to facilitate selecting files. Can FreeCommander support this?

File Search abends
I frequently get errors the first time I Ctrl-F to find or search in files. I choose the Continue Application in the debug dialog and the search then proceeds normally. I have attached the bug report from the latest failure, but the message for each one is "Cannot focus a disabled or invisible ...

Re: [782] No Menu Entries (Text not displayed)
I have the same problem in FCXE 783. I have not been able to detect what triggers it. I also do not use command line parameters nor a color scheme.

Re: Populated "favorite toolbars" delays FreeCommander start
The video of the slow start looks like my start-up, too. It seems to me the slow start-up began after I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. FC starts instantly on my work PC, which still has Windows 7. I am using FCXE Build 729 64-bit on both machines.

Favorite Toolbars setting lost
I am having what seems to be a related problem with FCXE 686, 64-bit in Windows 7 Enterprise. My settings for default actions, editors, viewers, etc. have been lost several times, as well as choices for the action toolbar in the Splitter. I have backed up the settings and when I restore them, not al...

Re: x64
I have been using x64 for about a week now both at home and work, and have had no problems. I also have noticed it's faster than the x32 version.

629 Columns Display Wrong Information
In 629, columns occasionally display wrong information. For example, file size appears in the Date Modified column and dates appear in the file size column. I am using a custom profile to display Name, Date Modified, Type, Size and Folder. This seems to happen mostly after the PC has been locked and...

Re: Sort columns do not respond to clicking
I confirm the same behavior, but have not detected a pattern or root cause. I get sorting to work again by changing the column profile.
