I'm trying to integreate FC and WinMerge as much as possible.
What I would like to archive is to be able to
1. Compare two files in same panel using winMerge
2. Compare two files in different panels using winMerge
3. Compare left panel to right panel using winMerge

Refresh
Say I delete a file from c:\temp using explorer.exe in winXP then this change is automatically distributed to other explorer sessions viewing that folder. This does not happen using FC - here I need to manually do a refresh to see files that are added, deleted etc. Why is this?

Custom buttons
It would nice to add custom icons to the toolbar.
One example would be launching WinMerge with right and left panel addresses as input arguments. Something like this;
C:\Program Files\WinMerge\WinMergeU.exe <leftPanelAddress> <rightPanelAddress>

Button size
The three button next to the address textbox (copy full path as text, goto root folder, goto upper folder) should be possible to change its size via Bitton size setting.
