you are absolutely correct! My DPI is 144 and yes I do have trouble seeing the fine print (and I am an eyedoc!).

I appreciate all the good work that has gone into FC and find it to be a great file manager.

I FOUND the Problem!!!

The little icons granny described WERE there, but on my computer display they were almost completely covered by the tool bar box. This definitely seems to be a bug in FC! The icons need to be moved down a little so they are visible! I am running XP pro on a Dell inspiron ...

There may be a misunderstanding...I am going to extras favorite tools (not toolbar) edit... and i get I get a box with "define favorite tools" not toolbar.

As described above I am trying to enter a new tool, not a new toolbar.

I did go to the menu Extras, Favorite Toolbar, Edit and the little arrows were only on the parameter and icon file. No arrows on Program or start folder, and I cannot enter anything in those boxes. Do I have a corrupted program?? I am running 2009.02

Thank you for the replies. I was thinking along the lines of the "merge" command that is in "2xExplorer" in which you just highlight the files and hit merge.

can FreeCommander concatenate (join) files?
