well, at least FTP would be great! it was in old FreeCommander, I know that it is not easy to integrate into the new version, but actually I'm still using the old one just for the lack of this feature.

yes, archive file formats supported by the 7zip dll would improve a lot the file manager. it has a COM architecture, so i do not know if it easy (or even possible) to integrate it into FreeCommander.

they're separated by spaces. i used these variables with a tool (developed by myself) which considers arguments separated by spaces and it worked fine.

did you try quick filters (the textbox on the bottom-right corner of each panel)? maybe it's not fast as xplorer2, but it's good

This is what i do with my "concat" tool: i select files from FC, click on Tools->Concat and then I get a file (named ".joined") which is the union of the selected files.

ok. FC generates the .bat file after splitting. But it lacks a way to join files which were splitted in other ways or which simply have to be concatenated. That's why i wrote my tool.

I know I ca join files using a .bat script, but there is no way to make an automatic join from within FC, because it does not put the "+" between the names of selected files.

I have developed a small console utility which accepts the parameters passed by FreeCommander (file names separated by a space) and creates a new file (named ".joined") which is the concatenation of selected files.

It would be nice to have a hotkey (for example ALT+w) which flags the "Always overwrite without prompt" checkbox in copy/move dialogs. There is no way to flag it without using the mouse or hitting TAB repeatedly and, on the other hand, in Win Vista the overwrite dialog requires 2 more clicks ...
