Try using back'up on you important files

I ursually use special simple tools to calculate the most useful MD5 & SHA-1.
These tools can calculate a lot of hashes and sometimes can crypt file or plaintext too

FC makes .bat file to join files.

I have been working now for this tool. I don't know how it in TC, but my tool can make copy of directory (with subdir's) without files. Only directory.

May be next work will be queue-copy util

When you Split any file FC make *.bat file to merge parts.

Content of BAT-file is:

• COPY /B "Split_.001"+"Split_.002" "Split.zip"

where Split_.001 and Split_.002 are parts. And Split.zip is original file. You should only run .bat file.

FC is not cross-platforrm and never will be...

Use Linux filemanager such as Krusader

I thing, including more file-formats to unpacking will be better than archive testing...
For example, nice feature will be .7z support (for unpacking, at least).

I use DblClick too. But ".. folder" is easy way to copy/move files to upper folder, by drag&drop.
