Re: Back button history order
But the FC Back is not back, it's history back.
And I've already established previously that I know that. And, again, I've also pointed out previously this is not my topic. I merely posted to reinforce that the current history functionality of the left arrow (aka back) button is also confusing ...

Re: Back button history order
For me, the Back button on the keyboard does it, no need for any special FC button.
That's the default in any file manager, and I have a lot of them.
I can only second this. In all file explorers I have been using (Windows, Linux), the "backspace" key brings the User to the folder above.
OK ...

Re: Back button history order
For those who expect/want the back button to function as it does in Explorer (always goes up one level) is there any way to make it do so?

Timestamp setting
After updating from 901 to 921 FreeCommander XE will no longer display slashes in dates, instead using commas. Attached image shows this happening for all dates in a folder and the setting window indicating the timestamp format is set to mm/dd/yyyy hh:nn AM/PM. Again, this setting worked as expected ...

Re: Include fstart.ini file in portable package, please!
OK, I have updated the FreeCommanderXE_portable.zip file.
Two files was added: fcStart.ini and what_is_fcStart_ini.txt.
Additionally the PortableApps package is now available.
FYI: In latest FreeCommanderXE-32-public_portable921.zip there is only what_is_fcStart_ini.txt but not the actual ...

Re: Show drive GB used
I also tried yours and several other choices but none of them display total used space on the disc. My guess is this would need to be added to the program code. For example, similar to the existing entry (Free [fc_discFree]) which shows total free space on the disc, I believe something like fc ...

Re: Triggering some programs with context menu sends them to background
OK, you're coming at this from using a command prompt window. Thanks for providing an alternative/workaround but I was trying to find a way to get the same Windows Defender scan window you get by right-clicking a file/folder and choosing Scan With Microsoft Defender. I prefer that window due to it a ...

Re: Triggering some programs with context menu sends them to background
Defender command line from my WinRAR config:
C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MpCmdRun.exe -Scan -ScanType 3 -File "%f"
This can be changed to FC and made as a Favorite toolbar entry.
Thanks for the info. However, I've tried about 10 different ways of creating a favorite to accomplish this and ...

Re: 730 - Column profiles - condition issues
I realize this is an old topic; however, I found it due to likewise being confused as to why setting the condition All Subfolders doesn't actually result in all subfolders displaying the same columns.
For example, the condition D:\Music does not actually result in all subfolders of Music on ...
