I tried escaping the ! using \, \\, etc. But nothing I tried, worked...

Is there a way to solve this?
No workaround but I have fixed it for the next release.

Thank you so much for this! I happened to have an older version, I installed the latest one after reading your reply. BUT the issue still persists - in TEXT preview mode. In the new version, .txt was set to be viewed as .rtf, THAT IS WHAT WORKS! So I went back to my older version, tried the same (s...
