I have just installed 931 and I noticed that you improved the behavior for the PDF preview as well, I wonder if for the PDF preview you can add a shortcut in order to use "tab" or "ins" to switch mode from "image mode" and "text mode" and viceversa, thanks!

I took for granted that displaying a JPG or a PDF was essentially the same thing.

I am actually referring to the PDF preview, I manage hundreds of PDF daily check them with FreeCommander it is just better than with any other PDF reader.

Can you add the same feature to move a zoomed PDF ...

I would also consider to add a zoom on the area when you create one on over your image or PDF.

I've been very quite enjoying FreeCommander, however there is something that has been lacking for so long, that I would love to have, I really need it, and that is important not just for me.

I do massive use of the PDF preview , I guess it is one the biggest features of FC if compared ...

Let me explain a bit the situation maybe can help you to figure out a proper workaround: my PDFs are 99% Printing PDF with average of 100MB each, I have hundreds of them in many folders. These are complex PDF files (mainly Adobe Illustrator generated ...

Try the following:
- check the location of the freecommander.ini under Help->About
- close FreeCommander
- open freecommander.ini with the text editor (e.g. notepad)
- find the line with ThumbsPdfInternal= and change the value to 0: ThumbsPdfInternal=0
- save the change and close the file
- start ...

I would like to notify that has been a while with several performance issue with FreeCommander at least since the last five versions till this one: "FreeCommander XE 2023 Build 885 64-bit donor".

Not sure if and how send you a log to catch these problems but I'll let you what I noticed ...
