I am using version 2009.02a and cannot drag/drop to another program or another FC window. Is there an update on this thread?

Splash Screen

Thanks for the suggestion. You're right, I'm using the FreeCommander Portable version.

However, I implemented your suggestion, but it didn't work. I even re-booted my machine. Does 'true' have to be all upper case or lower case or what?

Disabling the startup / splash screen

I have searched the forum, but haven't found an answer.

Is there a way to disable or prevent the startup/splash screen from appearing? The reason is that it interferes with other work that I'm doing when I start up FC.

Automatically adjust column width in detailed mode

Is it possible to have an option that tells FC to adjust the column width (at least in detailed mode) to the match the number of characters of the longest entry. Sometimes I go from a folder that has long file names to one that has very short ones I end up with too much white space.

I've been able to use the "Favorite Tool" for a folder in the Folder pane, but I can't get it to work on a folder in the Tree pane.

How can I make it work?
