What is hidden for you ?
Settings and then
open the list for File Explorer add-ons.
I don't see any problem with the UI

Here under Windows 11 FC has no such problems with Thumbnails.
Thumbnails are provided from the OS by the installation of the K-Lite Codec Pack.
This contains the Icaros Thumbnail provider.

There is a perfect solution for this. You have to install Total Commander Lister plugin ULister which requires the Oracle Viewer Technology files. If you don't know how a function is named you may not find it.

I found a similar behaviour.
To overcome it I just have to select Configure if I change the archive type.
After doing this once all is ok.

There is nothing wrong running FC under Windows 11.
I run Windows 11 since its first public available version without problems.
The OneDrive app allows you to setup what dirs are synchronized and if the files should be available offline.

Move with FTP is a dangerous option.
The transfer may be done in the wrong mode and all files are then defect for example.

There is no Autosave option on properties of files in OneDrive synched dirs.
There is only the status "Available on this device"
which depends on the global OneDrive setting "Files On-Demand"
