I am using FreeCommander XE 2021 Build 844 64-bit

Why does it matter what file or folder I want to move to wherever? It is just stuff on a local hard drive.

I don't really want to learn different methods for cut-copy-paste etc., I just want to use the standard windoze ones.

I have read loads of stuff on the forums about copy/move in FC but I can still only do anything like move in FC by using ctrl+x the ctrl+v.
I have everything in file/folder operations-general as 'use windows' with 'use vista method' at the bottom and have unselected 'always copy' in the drag ...
